Included with ALL residential leases is a Resident Benefits Package. These benefits are designed to offer protection and convenience to our residents.
The package includes the following:
Renter's Policy
We have established an umbrella policy that gives residents $100,000 of liability and $10,000 content coverage. This coverage fully meets the requirement for residents to have renter’s liability coverage. With this plan, residents receive the benefits of coverage without applications, credit checks, or billing.
Utility Concierge
We have partnered with Citizen Home Solutions (a third party service coordinator) to assist in starting utilities (including water, electricity, gas and internet/cable/satellite service) on your behalf. They will call you soon after you sign your lease. It is your responsibility to ensure all utilities are in your name at the start of the Lease. 24-Hr Maintenance Hotline with Live Support
You can call in and speak to a live Maintenance Coordinator, text, or submit a maintenance request online at any time 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
Multiple Payment Options
Pay free online via automatic withdrawal or make a one-time payment with a bank account or credit card. Pay at 100’s of payment centers near you, including Walmart (additional transaction fees may apply).
Late / Returned Payment Fee Waiver
First Property Management will grant a one-time per lease year waiver of a late or returned payment (ACH or check) fee. Unused waivers do not accrue or carry over from one year to the next.
Credit Bureau Reporting
Residents receive the benefit of credit reporting to the 3 major credit reporting agencies. You have the opportunity to strengthen your credit history by making on time payments, which will positively impact your credit scores.
Resident Portal
You have 24/7 access to your online Resident Portal to submit maintenance requests, pay online using all included payment options including paying online, auto-draft and paying at a local storefront, as well as access to electronic documents.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I opt-out of the Resident Benefits Package?
No. First Property Management is providing the Resident Benefits Package to all residents.
What if I have my own Renters Insurance coverage?
We understand some renter’s may have their own coverage that they prefer to us. If you provide proof of your own renter’s insurance policy, $10/month will be deducted from the cost of your Resident Benefits Package. Your insurance policy must carry a minimum of $100,000 in personal liability coverage, name First Property Management as an “Additionally Insured,” and have premiums paid up for a minimum of 12 months.
